Ford's eyes filled. The tears came fast—too fast, shocking. They spilled over, tracking down the creases of his face, catching in the stubble along his jaw. His jaw tightened, and when he spoke, his voice cracked like thin ice.
"I've always loved him, Em." The words came out ragged, torn from somewhere deep, somewhere he'd kept locked and hidden and carefully maintained. "You know that."

Fiddleford stopped laughing. He looked at Ford.
"Research exercise," he repeated.
"Yes." Ford felt the familiar architecture of a hypothesis assembling itself, something to stand behind, something with structure. "There must be a reason everyone we know is so thoroughly enthralled with intercourse. Statistically, the data is overwhelming. It warrants investigation."

"It seems, my dear pet, that you've forgotten who you really belong to." Bill's voice sent a chill up Ford's spine, simultaneously striking a fiery pool in the pit of his stomach.
"W-what?" He replied rather dumbly, eyes tracking the yellow form of his muse until the triangular being disappeared behind him. A cool, blunt hand settled into his hair only moments later, scratching at his scalp. Ford leaned into it, which Bill entertained for only a few moments before gripping the strands and yanking back. A startled noise slipped from the scientist's mouth, far too high-pitched to be anything with shame or dignity.
"Don't worry, Sixer! That's why I'm here to remind you!"

In which Bill gets jealous of his favorite human having other relationships, and decides to show him exactly why he's the only choice... By literally getting into Ford's head and making him no better than a bitch in heat.
