Summary
The dreams aren’t affecting him, Harry reasons, and hadn’t it been Dumbledore himself who wanted Harry to learn as much as possible about Voldemort’s past? If the dreams really are some kind of memory contained in the locket, wouldn’t they be the best possible way for Harry to learn about Riddle’s plans after Hogwarts, and where he may have hidden the two remaining Horcruxes?
Harry tries to convince himself that information is the only reason he’s started looking forward to sleep whenever it’s his turn with the locket, but he knows it’s more than that.
*
As Harry, Ron, and Hermione hide out searching for Horcruxes, Harry can't stop dreaming of a different version of himself, one with a knack for Dark Magic, a healthy suspicion of all things Dumbledore, and a close personal friendship with a boy named Tom Riddle.

Summary
When the Dark Lord Grindelwald heard a prophecy that an “heir to the Hallows” would be his downfall, he sought to kill a mere infant—a boy named Tom Riddle. He failed, vanishing in the aftermath and leaving only a scar upon the child’s face.
Tom Riddle grew up unaware of the true nature of his significance, yet certain of its existence. When he finally learns that he is as extraordinary as he always believed himself to be, he is thrilled.
But complications lie ahead. Is Tom Riddle truly the sort of boy who could ever become a hero?
And then there is the small matter of Harry Potter, who is inescapable in any universe.
