She could do this, for him who had done so much, already walked a dark path with her. For the male who had seen the worst of her and never balked from it, she could try harder. She could explain. She owed it to him, her friend, her lover, her mate, her heart. Even if talking terrified her. . .she swallowed. She could do this.
