The other woman extends her hand, perfectly-manicured nails gleaming in the soft light. They're painted a colour that's not quite scarlet, not quite black; closer to maroon. It matches her lipstick, because why would it not. Taylor feels awkward, like her arms are brand new and she's still figuring them out as she accepts the handshake with what she hopes is a dignified, not-too-fawning smile. "Taylor," she hears herself say.
The other woman's face lights up, she laughs. "What are the odds of that?" she says. Her fingers are cool against Taylor's warm ones as she clasps her free hand around the place where they're touching, cupping Taylor's palm two-handed. "I'm Taylor as well." Then, almost conspiratorial: "You know, people are saying we look really similar."
Taylor shrugs. "I don't know if I see it."

Summary
Caitlin sits, taking stock of the situation. Her bed is covered in a thin but definitive layer of ice, steam rising as the cold from it hits the heat of her bedroom. Judging from the pool of icy water underneath her, soaking through her pyjamas, her bed has been frozen for a while. Long enough for her body heat to partially melt it, at least. Lying next to her, snoring gently, is Killer Frost.
"Impossible," Caitlin whispers. The room and Killer Frost say nothing.

Summary
Emma had never liked to lie. It had always felt wrong in a fundamental sense, as if telling a lie was denying reality or wanting it to change. With what she now knew about magic that might very well be the case. Because of that she had always been a fairly obvious liar, especially to those who knew her well, and Henry had picked up all of her tells. Luckily though, technically, what she had said was true.
The second curse is a chance to start over, to choose a new path. Emma decides to try a new way of doing things when she and Henry return from New York City.
