Summary
The Luckey Cafe was a speciality even amongst travelling coffeeshops. One day, nothing, a vacant lot on the edge of town. The next, a full sized two-story building.
It would appear at the corner of a town, typically close to a Wizards Guildhall, and stick around for weeks at a time, before just disappearing in the night. Anyone out and about close to the building says they just blinked and it was gone, nothing but the exceptionally well branded travel cups in their hands to convince them that it had been there at all.
Nobody knew where it went, or where it came from. Nor did anyone know where to expect it.
When The Luckey Cafe settled somewhere, it was never wanting for customers, people of all scenes lining up for a chance to see the almost mythical cafe before it disappeared again.
So when it landed in Magnolia, well.

First time I’ve ever subscribed to a story in my life. I read this whole thing in less then two days and the only reason it wasn’t finished in one is because I tried to savor it 😭😭😭 oh my gosh you’ve turned my comfort show into a comfort book and you better believe I’m coming back for a reread because I literally cried when I found out I was on the last chapter. This author is truly gifted, fleshing out both characters and the world in a way I wish I’d seen more of in canon and am absolutely salivating over in this fic. I’ve had daydreams about a story very similar to this for years and here you are, blessing me with the gosh darn sun. Holy crap. Like, how can I even explain what I’m feeling right now. Just wow. Beautiful. Made Lucy feel like a human, unique, mystical, and powerful, but not a Hollywood bad bitch feminist or anything obnoxious. She’s a human, with real feelings and panic attacks and guilt and complexes and a heart of gold that shines through in her scars (literally) and the company she keeps. It’s really not hard to see why everyone fell head over heels for our girl. I’m literally still crying writing this. Oh please blessed god/goddess of story crafting, thank you for writing this and please don’t lose your fire for this story 😭😭😭😭 this is so so good oh my goodness I’m so happy I got to live long enough to read this masterpiece. Thank you for sharing this, from the bottom of my heart.

Oh dear, oh dear, gorgeous 🤌 that’s the meme I was thinking of when I went straight for the bookmark XD absolutely beautiful prose, no excessive use of flowery language or extended metaphors. It’s really lovely and exploring Lucy’s toxic childhood in a way that makes sense holds a very special place in my heart. I absolutely love how this story is developing so far 🤩 10/10 and it’s only chapter 1

Haven’t finished yet (Ch 18 as of now) but wanted to bookmark in case I accidentally lose it in the sauce somehow. A very thoughtful and in-character take on the post-madara war situation, and tbh wayyy better than the crap we got in canon with missing arms and alien goddesses and unnecessary character trauma and death. There was even closure for some of the traumatized folks (is there even anyone that isn’t traumatized in the Narutoverse tho?) and I really love the way everyone’s been written so far. Also, no instalove angst or anything from our girl Sakura (but thankfully she’s also not written as a vengeful angry psycho-murderer bc let’s be honest, that’s wayy too OOC for her, the girls heart is too big for her own good), which is pretty interesting to read. It’s the messiest strangers - annoyances - friends - maybe something mores - strangers - enemies - not quite friends dramatic tension I’ve seen maybe ever. Also love the introspection from Naruto and the highlighting of his intelligence and shear amazingness as a person. He deserves to be fawned over, let’s be real here. 10/10 so far 🤌

You get trauma 🎉 and you get trauma 🎉 (tosses more trauma-fetti in the air) Trauma bonding for everyone!!! No but seriously I always love fixit genin fics where the kiddos get the trauma out in the open early on and become true and mentally healthy friends. I love the premise so far! Obv don’t traumatize them too much 😅 but a little is fine in the name of future closeness, as a treat. I do love me some angst, as long as it’s not permanent disfigurement or extremely severe ofc 🤔 crazy how often those happen in these 😓

Gorgeous, wonderful, amazing, fantastic. There aren’t enough words in the English dictionary to express how much I love this fic. The saddest thing about a story this good is that you know in your soul that no story will ever be able to fill the hole its ending carved into you. Mostly canon compliant, SasuSaku as childhood friends. Good characterization, very very cute story. Something like 53 total chapters between two titles. Nobody got unnecessarily mutilated or traumatized for ridiculous plot reasons and the story was still pristine, who would have thought XD. Seriously though, this story is absolutely gorgeous.
