Summary
The cold muzzle of his blaster pressed firmly against the back of the woman’s skull.
“Don’t move.” he said, his voice flat and unyielding through the modulator.
The room stilled.
Grogu started making happy noises, his stubby arms stretching out toward Din, the forgotten meal slipping entirely from his attention. “Buuh,” he grunted, repeating it over and over, eyes bright.
“Buir?” the woman’s voice was soft but measured, a question aimed at Grogu. The child’s gaze flicked to her, then back to Din, repeating the sound with a nod of his wrinkled head.
She let out a long sigh, the motion slight, almost imperceptible against the muzzle. Her accent carried the rhythm and cadence of Core Worlds— It struck him as entirely out of place here.He didn’t like her speaking Mando’a.
Din pressed the cold metal harder against the back of her skull, testing her resolve. She said nothing for a few heartbeats.
Then, finally, she spoke.
“So… you’re the reason my child is wearing chainmail.”

Summary
After he commits every single weapon in the hold to memory, Din finds himself cataloging more and more things about Skywalker instead, small observations that carve out a space in his mind unbidden.
---
As much as Din likes to tell himself that he’s just been taking a well-deserved break, the truth is that for the six months following their daring rescue he’s been nothing but truly and utterly lost. That is until Luke Skywalker gives him a ship and hires him to help figure out what the hell the Empire needed the Child’s blood for.
As they drift through the empty void of hyperspace, they slowly find unexpected companions in each other and realize their respective paths might not be as set as they once thought.

Summary
Luke walks straight to Din and Din suddenly feels like he should be doing something with his hands.
“Hi,” he says.
“Hi,” Luke agrees, grinning. “So. I didn’t get your name, before. Grogu just calls you ‘Daddy’ in his head but I’m assuming I should call you something else.”
Din chokes a little.
*****
This is basically an Accidental Warlord Din Djarin fic in which Din plays the role of reluctant DILF leader with a heart of gold and Luke plays the role of initially distrusted twink who quickly becomes beloved by all (especially said warlord). The Mandalorians are like, "we've only had Luke Skywalker for a day and a half but if anything happened to him I would kill everyone in this room and then myself."

Summary
“Last time I asked this, you dodged the question, and out of professional courtesy I let you. Now I need to know. Who is chasing you?”
“I suspect it’s the same people who are chasing you.”
Set shortly after the events of S1 of The Mandalorian, Djarin finds himself entangled with allies he never thought he'd have, as espionage and galaxy-impacting plots leave him out of his depth.
Written and planned during the S1/S2 interval, so canon compliant until the start of S2. Set between the end of S1 and S2:The Jedi.
Think of this as my S2 story arc! If you squint, it could be canon-compliant full stop. :)
Slow burn romance, some adult material later on, and with a occasionally sweary OFC. Passes Mako Mori and Bechdel tests. Canon-typical violence.
There will always be a content warning at the start of a chapter if applicable. If you feel I've missed one, let me know.
