Summary
"She thinks we're on a date," Emily said, when the woman had gone, around a spoonful of something with figs in it.
"We're two friends having dinner."
"At a candlelit corner table for two and a half hours."
"It's a small restaurant, they're all corner tables."
"You ordered me the exact side I would have ordered, if I'd been allowed to keep reading the menu instead of being informed I'd taken long enough."
"That's not a date, that's paying attention."
"Mm," said Emily, in a tone that conceded precisely nothing, and ate the fig dessert, and did not, Andy noted, ever actually get around to saying it wasn't.
--
More than a decade after Andy had left runway, a chance meeting at a bakery reunites her with Emily, freshly divorced and pregnant with her second child. What follows is, of course, a love story.

Summary
“Are you sure sure?”
Emma stares at Ruby standing behind her through the propped mirror on the dining table as her friend quirks a brow. Valid enough question, she thinks. This is, indeed, a big change for her. But it’s one that’s been itching in the back of her mind for months. Every time she puts her hair up in a ponytail. Every time she puts a beanie on to keep it out of her face. Every time she washes her hair and the weight of it seems heavier on her shoulders. It’s the longest time she’s sat on a decision for someone whose impulse control leaves a lot to be desired. That must mean something.
“Yeah, Rubes. I’m sure sure.”
Ruby throws a half hearted salute back at her along with a reassuring grin before taking a pair of scissors to the bundle of her ponytail. Emma closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. She clutches at the towel around her neck and tries to focus her attention on the sounds filtering through the open window of Ruby’s apartment. She hopes the sound of people coming and going through Granny’s just beneath them will drown out the snipping sound of the scissors cutting through her golden curls.

Summary
So, Emma is going to cut her hair. She worries for a moment that she’ll look too butch if she cuts it too short, but then her stomach clenches and she thinks about it again. Maybe, if she cuts her hair short enough, she’ll look Butch. She’s not naive, and she’s old enough now to know that sexuality isn’t tied to gender and she definitely likes girls as much as (more than) boys. Women more than men.
It’s still taking a stance, though. If Emma cuts her hair and wears a too tight sports bra and finally pulls the thick boots she bought years ago out of the back of her closet, then she’ll be A Butch. She won’t just be a girl anymore, but a type of girl. What type of girl does she want to be? The kind of girl that’s kind of not a girl? The kind of woman that’s a mother and not a girl?

Summary
Ever since moving to the dorms, Yaoyarozu had learned a lot about her fellow classmates. Like how both Iida and Bakugou are awake by 6:30 in the morning, getting ready for their morning exercise. Or how Uraraka would always buy the cheaper brands of food when assigned for grocery shopping.
Another thing she learned were the mysteries of Class 1-A.
