Sometimes Izuku liked to sit on the broken glass of his mom’s most expensive wine bottles and cry until someone came to ask what a kid like him was doing out so late. It worked out and then it didn’t, and then it didn’t, but what was there to save when the bottomless pit of something so much worse than illness came forth like a tsunami in the name of—oh, hi, can you let me stay the night?
No answer, until—no, the beast would seethe, you may not. And there would be the howling of a whole other being and dog catchers would ask what the fuck is that and Izuku would want to cry, because it was him, but also not him, and just—Him.
