Summary
Jaskier wakes in Kaer Morhen with no idea how he'd arrived there. Thank goodness, Eskel is there to help him acclimatize, and seems to have plenty of answers for all of the strange happenings. He feels terrible, considering his fallout with Geralt - but it turns out he's not even at the keep.

Eskel, tired of Geralt's avoidance and not yet ready to give up on his happiness, kidnaps Jaskier. He gets to know Jaskier during the days; the man and the bard he's heard so much about. At night, he takes what he wants with axii.

This year had been shit from start to finish. The only thing left worth anything is the chain around his neck, still holding his Witcher medallion. Being a Witcher is truly a horrible existence.
