Summary
Lonely bookseller and book restorer Aziraphale Fell, encouraged by an online friend, decides to advertise for company. He certainly doesn't expect the dynamic Anathema Device or her suave half-brother Anthony J. Crowley to answer his ad. As he and Crowley develop their friendship, it's impossible for him to escape his growing feelings.
When Crowley finds himself persuaded by his half-sister to meet Aziraphale, he doesn’t expect to form a close friendship. As his emotions become involved, he wonders whether Aziraphale would be interested in more.

Summary
Crowley hates Christmas. He hates winter. He hates the way the year insists on circling back to the same night, again and again.
Every Christmas Eve, he works a crisis hotline, because if he’s going to have a miserable night, he might as well help other people through theirs.
When a call goes wrong, the careful scaffolding he’s built around himself begins to crack — and Crowley starts to believe that maybe the problem has always been him. That maybe the world would be better off without him in it.
Enter Aziraphale: angel, nuisance, and entirely unwilling to let Crowley disappear quietly. Oh — and he’s kind of cute, too.

Summary
They meet in Australia in the late 1800s. It's so different from the London Aziraphale has been growing ever fonder of. The trees are a grey-green rather than a dark green, leaves shaped oddly, trunks growing tall and silver, covered in scribbles like a child's first attempt at writing.

“We were thinking,” Aziraphale began, then shot a look at Crowley, “that is, we thought, just maybe, we could, ah, keep him? As a morale booster for the whole house, you know?”
“Right,” said Crowley. “Like a therapy cat. Those are a thing these days.”
“No,” Brian said, because he had to.

Summary
Pepper had just walked in the front door for her day shift. Hadn’t even taken off her coat, much less gotten a cup of coffee, when Brian stopped her.
“Hey, got a minute?” Brian looked… tense.
“Sure, Bri. What’s up?”
“Remember a while ago when you asked me to keep an eye on Crowley and Aziraphale? To let you know if anything seemed amiss?”
“That ship’s sailed,” Pepper replied. “I’m sure I misunderstood. That’s what I get for eavesdropping.”
“Well…” Brian said uncertainly. “I’m not so sure.”
“Oh, good lord. What’s happened now?” Pepper sat down wearily behind the reception desk and put her head in her hands.

Summary
In the 1930s, an exiled demon summons Aziraphale to the hazy heat of Australia.
Of course, only a terrible emergency would lead Crowley to telegram demanding an angel travel halfway around the world.
For the prompt: why does Aziraphale hate Australia so much?

Summary
Aziraphale hesitated. "What are your plans?"
"Going to get my head down for a bit. It's exhausting, all this not doing work."
"Well, you should know, you slothful thing," Aziraphale said indulgently, hoping Crowley could hear the silent pleas of Kiss me good night, come here, embrace me, hold me close. He could do it himself, he supposed, but every time he tried to imagine it, the kiss was awkward, clumsy, awful. He wasn't the tempter. He shouldn't have to make the first move when there was an actual demon there, for Heaven's sake.
Unless the demon didn't want to in the first place.

Summary
Aziraphale Fell runs a successful food blog, Celestial Comestibles, where he shares mouthwatering recipes and heartwarming stories about his happy domestic life in a cottage with his husband and son. As promotion for his upcoming cookbook, his publishers run a contest: one lucky winner will get to spend Christmas with Aziraphale and his family.
What the publishers don't know is that the real Aziraphale Fell is a single city-dweller. And if he wants to keep up his happily married persona, he'll have to acquire a cottage, husband, and son before Christmas.
As it happens, his friend and neighbor Anthony Crowley has his nephew staying with him for the holidays. One fake marriage proposal later, and everything seems tickety-boo--as long as Aziraphale can keep from developing inconveniently real feelings for his pretend husband...

“It’s just,” he continued, “I’ve noticed that humans—some humans, anyway—they use that word, angel, as a…well, as a sort of…endearment.”
“Do they?” said Crowley, who had invented using the word as an endearment in the 13th century AD.
