Luz was left stunned in the empty parking lot.
Had Amity actually defended her? Or was she really just in a rush to get out of school, and lost her temper? Surely, she couldn't have been defending Luz. Why now, and not years ago when the bullying- teasing, rather- had started? Why break her silence now, on a random Friday in October?
