"Art books were easy to find, there were plenty of it on the shelves at his local library. He picked up one for beginners and went to town drawing everything that he could see.
That didn't mean that he was good at it at first. He had trouble getting the right shapes, the right contrast in every shading or lighting that hit the forms he was drawing. His stroke was too light or too heavy, shaky and indecisive. He thought about giving up often, but knew that if he did, that meant he would never have a piece of Kaveh again. So he didn't."
