Summary
“I know how we can defeat Glory!” Anya pronounced. Willow and Xander both looked up at her in surprise. Even Giles, over by the register with his tea, looked up in interest. “We run away!”
Thanks to some research done by Anya, the escape in Spiral is to a different dimension, where hopefully they should be safe from Glory’s all-powerful grasp until the window for the apocalypse passes. But trying to get home will be another matter altogether, in a world where humans are slaves, vampires undergo peculiar transformations, and Cordelia Chase is the messiah. Reuniting with old friends doesn’t guarantee things will get any easier, especially if their enemies also team up to maintain the status quo. What does it mean to be The Key? How many regimes will Buffy overthrow? Is there no place like home?

Summary
An alternate take on Spike’s hostage hot bedding in s4, in which he sticks around longer and eventually ends up in Willow and Buffy’s dorm.
There’s just… something about Spike that gets people talking and opening up, even when they don’t mean to. Not Buffy, though. Buffy can't stand him.

Summary
Set canonically in season 6 between Doublemeat Palace and As you were.
There’s a new toy craze sweeping Sunnydale: Fwiffles. Fuzzy little mystery-box creatures with giant eyes, weird accessories, and “ultra rare” variants people are apparently willing to emotionally unravel over.
Buffy thinks they’re ridiculous.
Unfortunately, the Doublemeat Palace has launched a “Got Fwiffle?” promotion, the mascot called in sick, and Todd is offering double pay.
“You want me to stand outside dressed as a giant nightmare hamster?”
“A Fwiffle.”
“It has six teeth.”
“Double pay.”
“…where’s the head?”At first it just seems like another stupid trend. Willow looking for the perfect one for Tara, Anya starts treating limited editions like stock investments. And then Buffy finds Spike in his crypt surrounded by Fwiffles arranged in tiny handmade coffins.
“Please tell me those aren’t satin interiors.”
“They’re collectible.”
“You made one a pillow.”
“He looked uncomfortable.”But the longer the craze goes on, the stranger it starts to feel… because on a Hellmouth, nothing is ever just a craze.

Bookmarker's Notes
there’s a tumblr post that lists episode ideas for if btvs took place now and i think this is SUCH a good one. Like, yes it would have been on brand back then as well (i’m picturing Kewpie dolls, Beanie Babies, and tokidoki keychains) but the way i fully visualize person-sized labubus… terrifying. This is great
