After many failed attempts, Hydra believes that the next step in trying to replicate the super soldier serum is procreation. Through a joint operation with the Red Room, several babies are born, but only one survives past infancy. The failed project is abandoned, and the child is sent to live with an old Soviet officer, where she is trained until Hydra finds a new use for her. After years of experimentation, Hydra falls, and the girl is free. But free to do what, exactly? She doesn't know, but maybe her parents will.
