Wallace wasn't about to just let Ruby be homeless. Not after everything that had happened, the kid had lost his father for fuck's sake. He's the champion now, and that means doing what Steven would have done, and that means not letting an eleven year old sleep outside when he has a perfectly empty guest room. Except Wallace is dealing with a loss of his own, and he has no clue what he's doing.
This can't end well....Or, Ruby didn't have Celebi at the end of rs. Everyone who died is still dead, and everyone who didn't has to find a way to keep living without them.

Jonny d'Ville doesn't like talking about his feelings. Luckily, the other Mechanisms are good at poking and prodding in just the right places until he gets fed up and tells them what's wrong. Or, they're okay at it. And extremely good at annoying him. It probably balances out.
But you can't spend centuries together in space without figuring out how to talk to each other.Or, Jonny tries to repress his emotions. The other Mechs don't let him.

Don and Kathy would move in together. They would have a dog or two and then inevitably, a small parade of adorable little brats who would call him Uncle Cosmo, and they would spend less and less time with him, not on purpose but busy with the rest of their lives, and ultimately Cosmo would learn to make his peace with it because he’d have no other choice and he would have to try to move on and not live too much in his memories. He could picture it so clearly, he figured if the songwriting gig with Monumental didn’t pan out, he could always return to the backwater circuit with a new act: The Amazing Cosmo of the Cosmos—ladies and gentlemen, he sees the future, he reads the stars, he silently pines for his best married pal and all the while tap dancing!
Don and Kathy inviting him along on their honeymoon, though—that part was a surprise.

Eventually.

“Okie-dokes.” Kuroba shakes himself, and then turns to wave at the waiting group of suspects and witnesses with a reassuring smile. They stare blankly at him.
“They’re traumatized, Kaito-san.”
“I know. That’s why I’m being nice.”
Shinichi grabs Kuroba’s jacket and starts yanking him toward the group, ignoring his annoyed muttering. In Kuroba’s defense, he’s very good at looking reassuring. It’s just a lot less effective when he’s standing next to the corpse.
