Summary
Severus died that night at the hands of the Dark Lord, the man he "worked" for and was "loyal", at least that's what the Lord believed him to be, an impeccable servant. Even so, he ended up dying for his master's snake. He knew it would happen, he was sure his time was coming, just like the manipulative old goat's plan.
He died, but not as badly as he thought it would. The green eyes of his sweet childhood friend, his sister, shone into those of her son. That put him at ease.
However, he had many regrets, he wanted to be a better person, less sour, less broken and unstable. He wanted to be able to see his best friend, be better for him, for her, as well as for himself.
Who would have thought that his wish would be heard and, as soon as he opened his eyes once more, he would be back in his childhood self? Severus had one more opportunity and he wasn't going to waste it, he would do his best to live his life well and to the fullest.
However, what would he do when he found out that he wasn't the only one who had the memories of his past life? How would his life turn out? Better or worse?

Summary
Severus watched as the fire turned to red and purple, spitting sparks as a parchment escaped the flames. All eyes were glued to the parchment as it fell into Dumbledore’s grasp. Severus could not help himself as he held his breath like the rest of his peers. Carefully, Dumbledore unfolded the parchment and stared hard and long at the words written on the parchment.
“Severus Snape,” yelled Dumbledore.
All eyes snapped to Severus who sat frozen on the bench. Whispers and cries of disbelief rang out, but Severus couldn’t hear them. He couldn’t hear anything. Silence engulfed him as his eyes locked with Dumbledore. His eyes had lost their twinkle and were instead hard and empty.Severus Snape was tired of his fate, to be a lowly snake. Luckily, fate was kind to him this time and the arrival of a tournament had come. It was a spur of the moment kind of thing, a moment of weakness and strength that led Severus to put his name in the Goblet of Fire. But he was chosen now, and he had no choice but to play in the game, maybe he will live or die, but either way he wasn't going to become what everyone said he would be.

In order to manage that, Yuuri seeks out the help of aloof victor Viktor Nikiforov, their mentor. However, Viktor is a cold and callous man, uninterested in Yuuri's struggle. Yuuri is going to have to work hard to convince Viktor that he and Axel are not a lost cause, and more importantly, to survive the games.
