An au set in the world of a welsh legend, where a lady of the lake is wed to a mortal man, who strikes her three times; to walk faster to get to town, at a wedding when she cries, a funeral where she laughs, and thus finds the marriage annulled. Clara plays the part of a lake dweller, and the Doctor a travelling sorceror. Weird, but hopefully good, for not flirtingbytheway's secret santa gift on tumblr.

AU: Clara isn't quite sure how to handle the new Doctor or her newfound attraction to him, so when she meets Malcolm Tucker, a foul-mouther spin doctor that looks exactly like the man she's lusting after, Clara doesn't think things can get much more complicated. But when it starts to become obvious that maybe The Doctor wants her too, Clara organised life starts to fall apart around her.

The Doctor doesn't appreciate being lied to. No matter the circumstance. This is my attempt at the beginning of a fic. I may continue it, if there is enough feedback prompting me to do so. There is no dub-con or anything in this chapter. Just arguing and suggested future punishment/discipline. :P Enjoy.

When she learns that the fallen Director of Communications, Malcolm Tucker, is a fellow professor in the English Department, her curiosity for the cold and calculating man sees her down a path of discovery that she only ever dreamed of.
