He shook his head in disbelief and his eyes landed on Ethan with an incredulous look. “Everyone is talking about you. What’s going on?”
“Dude, I don’t know!” Ethan shrieked, offering an awkward smile when everyone looked at him. “Did you have a weird dream about me?”
Benny’s eyes flickered to Sarah and back to Ethan in a heartbeat. “Uh, no.”
Sarah just sighed and turned away to hide a quick smile. “Sure. Everyone did, genius, that’s why they’re all in love with Ethan.”
Benny clicked his tongue, pressing his palms to his face. “Ah. How did that happen?” Ethan sat down next to him, turning when Benny tugged on his shirtsleeve. “Was it you?”
Ethan’s eyes bore a hole into the table. “I don’t know! I had a weird dream, kinda like how everyone is acting today but it was yesterday all over again. I’ve never had this ability to accidentally share a dream with everyone.”
“You didn’t share your dream though. I had a dream we went on a date, and Sarah had a dream where you kissed her and she liked it!” Rory smiled, earning him a punch in the arm from Erica.
“This is exactly why I didn’t tell you about mine, doofus.”

They were so close, nearly pressed against one another, when Ethan leaned forward and pressed pause.
“You alright? You haven’t even jumped at the last like, two or three jumpscares.”
“Yeah! Yeah, sorry I..” He stared at Ethan’s face, feeling his heart pound in his chest. “Jane kinda drew on your face, I was just getting distracted.” And as if he couldn’t control himself, he raised a hand to Ethan’s cheek and swiped a thumb over the mark.
He watched Ethan freeze, his eyes became distant for just a moment, and suddenly he was back, breathing frantically.
Benny pulled his hand away. “Did you just? Was that-”
“No, no. Don’t worry about it.” Ethan ran a hand over his face and rose from the couch. “Ah, bathroom. Be right back.”

Ethan and Benny have been getting closer, spending a Summer watching scary movies together. After Ethan has a vision of them kissing, he realizes he has to do something about it.
Chapters switch focus between the boys. Whole lotta Grandma Weir as an all knowing and powerful witch.
