“Fuck it. Give me a bottle of champagne. I’m celebrating!”
“What are you celebrating?”
“Humph! That bachelor party’s guy. The one who’s getting married to the love of his life. Just because mine dumped me doesn’t mean I can’t celebrate another man’s good fortune in love. Give me a bottle... err, oh, I mean... give me a glass of your.... your...”
Then the man hesitates for a few seconds so you prompt him.
“Yes?”
You are wondering what vintage Wu Suowei is going to request when he stammers -
“....uhm... well, give me a small glass your cheapest champagne...”
His face flushes hot and his ears turn the same light-pink color as the cloud on his bandage.
You look at him to check and see if he’s serious because there is no such thing as cheap champagne. Before you can formulate a response, he’s already rethinking his request.
“Uh, what will that cost me, btw? I mean, is it more than a few yuan. You know, let me check my account. Maybe I should stick with water now that I think about it...”
