After getting screwed over, pinned with an assault charge that he most definitely didn't deserve, and expelled from his high school, Nam-gyu is shipped off to Seoul while under probation, forced into the care of cafe owner Seong Gi-hun. If he wants to make it to eighteen without going to jail, the logical choice is for him to keep his head low and pretend to be an honest student.
But then he runs into an old friend and a girl that came from nowhere. Meeting Su-bong again, or rather Thanos now, along with the strange, history-less Mi-na, brings an avalanche of unintended consequences. Now, the "logical" choice is hardly an option. Not when reality is bending in front of Nam-gyu's eyes.
