Summary
When Mahal himself offers to send Thorin back to the start of the quest to save the line of Durin, he is determined to make amends for all of the mistakes he made the first time around.
When Bilbo wakes up in Bag End eighty years in the past, all he knows is that he has somehow been given the chance to see his beloved dwarves again and he'll be damned if he doesn't take it.
Both dwarf and hobbit are desperate to prevent the quest from ending in tragedy, but neither will be able to do it on their own. They'll need to work together if they want to keep the entire Company alive and whole --but first they need to realize that they are not alone in their efforts, and they have to stop getting in each other's way at every turn they make.
Hopefully, they'll learn some things this time that they failed to learn before. And maybe, just maybe, they'll find their happy ending that both have been yearning for.

She remembered it so clearly—a roaring warrior fighting his way desperately across the ice, axes glinting in the sunlight as he felled every orc in his path. The beat of the drums that rattled her bones. How she dangled in the open air, freezing wind tearing at her clothes and stinging her skin. How she choked for breath, clawing at the hand wrapped around her neck, even as her vision grew spotty. The complete terror, knowing there was no one close enough to save her. The horrible voice of the Defiler crying out in gloating triumph. The way everyone who fought below seemed to freeze at the sound—everyone save for a single dwarf. The burst of pain as the blade pierced through her back and out the middle of her chest. And the anguished scream that rose above everything else as she fell.
It was the last thing she heard.
She hadn’t yet dared to wonder why her death had ripped such a terrible sound from someone such as he, who was no stranger to loss.

Summary
Mahal’s voice; inscrutable, pervasive, full of the wisdom of the ages, permeating every rock and mineral of the firmament, and surrounding Cantors like Kíli every moment of their lives.
Kíli just really wished their Father would learn to be more specific in his wisdom, that's all.
Now, the planned marriage between his brother, and the eldest daughter of Dale is out of the question, and Kíli finds himself volunteering before he even has a chance to question his Maker on the finer points.
Like, how did a hasty proposal to the wrong daughter morph into what Kíli suspects might be his perfect match?

Summary
The deep places of the earth. Vaulted cathedrals filled with Mahal's voice. And the perfect cradle from which to reform two souls; forged anew in synchronous heat and passion...
Only, things aren't going exactly how Thorin Oakenshield, Reformed King Under The Mountain, dreamed. Bilbo is confoundingly...confused. The bond that is tearing apart his very being is in danger of being snuffed out before it's even had much of a chance to begin, and there is far too much political chicanery than is good for his fraying nerves and temper.
And orcs. Definitely too many orcs.
If he is very lucky, he may just manage to woo Bilbo, and possibly save his sanity in the process...
A prompt fill for a Dwarven Courtship story; with lots of feels, a touch of fluff and a mine-cart full of Dwarven culture thrown in for good measure.
And Nori. Because he'd find a way to steal centre stage, regardless.

Bilbo Baggins dies a day out from the shore of the Pure Lands. While his passing was not planned, he was not surprised. When the reaper leaves him to walk his path to the Garden alone, Bilbo comes to the conclusion no one would miss one little hobbit, so instead of heading down the path, he decides to go on one last adventure. He always had meant to make it to the mountain one last time, and now he has all the time in the world.

Bilbo and Frodo, sent to the "Purelands" of the elves, have been cut off from ever going to Yavanna's Garden and reuniting with their kin. Except Bilbo is stubborn and he breaks the rules
