Now, there is Hawks. The hero is gentle with him like his mother once was, as if he’s something more than the amalgamated patchwork monster that had risen from the grave of a dead boy with one singular task in mind: destroy his creator, no matter the cost.
Affection has never been his to keep for long. Dabi doesn’t know what to do with it.

“Most people want an underlayer,” Suki explains, tugging at her own in demonstration before giving Sokka—or Sokka’s nipple piercings, rather—a sideways, pointed look, “Or else by the end of the day you’re going to be in friction burn city."
“Your city naming," Sokka sniffs, "Leaves something to be desired."]
OR,
Zuko would really like to kiss—and more—Sokka and Suki, but he knows better than to risk a friendship as amazing as theirs.
Suki and Sokka would really like to kiss Zuko, and maybe getting him into a Kyoshi Warrior for the first time can help them get there. They have to strip down to demonstrate how it's done, after all.
