Summary
Lambert, now riding in full gallop through the woods in unlaced boots, has simply grabbed his steel sword, having heard no sound of any kind of monster. With his armour still damp, he is only wearing his spare gambeson, but how ill equipped he is for a fight is not on his mind at all, with the voice getting louder and clearer every second. It’s huffing and growling, not as sure of victory as he remembers. From the sounds of it, its owner is outnumbered and possibly hurt, too.
