Summary
"We were so worried, we heard you—" Ragatha starts, and then looks up. She meets Jax's gaze dead-on, and goes silent. Tears brim in the corner of her eye. Her hand flies up to cover her mouth. He can't tell if the look on her face is relief or fear.
Gangle's staring at him like she's seen a ghost. Pomni slowly raises to her feet, brows furrowed. She winces as every movement jars her wavering form.
Cowered on the floor, panting, confused and disoriented, with everyone standing above him, taller than him… it reminds Jax of something deeply unpleasant. They're all staring at him. They're all seeing him.
Jax knows they're not going to like what they see.
His breath quickens until his head is spinning, and he feels like he's going to vomit. He forces himself upwards with a frustrated cry, swaying in place, and then turns and bolts towards his room as fast as he can.
"NO!" Pomni screams.
(or: pomni pulls jax back from the brink.)

Summary
Growing up, she found it quite strange, the anti-princess rhetoric that the Horde spoon fed her and the other cadets ever since they were old enough to start learning the basics of language. It was very clearly all propaganda, designed to instill an “us versus them” narrative. One that painted the princesses as irredeemable villains, and the Horde as the heroes.
Catra should know, since this was the exact same thing she did as Vox— painting Princess Morningstar, her little hotel, and her angel friends as the bad guys, while painting herself and the Vees as the heroes of the story.
How did the saying go? It takes one to know one.

Summary
Today, the ▬▬▬▬▬ Police Department has disclosed the identities of the recently found persons who escaped from the previously-thought abandoned C&A software department. Dubbed the “C&A Escapees” by social media, the five people have captured the interest of the world due to the strange circumstances of their location. All five people had previously been reported missing, anytime ranging from several months to nearly a decade ago, with at least one previously presumed deceased. Only two of the escapees had formerly been connected to the C&A software department, which had been abandoned since its failure to resell in 2008. This building itself became a local urban legend due to the occasional disappearance around the location and strange reports of electrical functioning despite its power being cut. However, these rumors are miniscule in comparison to the recent reality of the five C&A Escapees leaving the building, all the same age they were when they had vanished, as if no time at all had passed.
