Summary
“Everyday at work, he feels the paranoia between each line of conversation. There’s a lilt to Emily’s voice sometimes, does that mean she’s lying about her interest in his life? How can he possibly know the difference between genuine and false when Rossi and Hotch’s expressions hardly shift for either. What if Derek thinks he’s a loser just like the rest?”
or
After a few too many jokes that read as insults, Spencer starts to question his place amongst the team and his friendships. Derek, noticing a withdrawn Reid, starts to worry like no other.

Summary
Dennis’ eyes flick down to the dog bed. He’s never been denied it before. It might help keep his fur from getting dirty, at least. He grabs it and starts back to the door. He won’t make them say it. He’s been bad so that means he has to go outside.
“Dennis,” Robby says. Dennis winces and drops the bed. He should have known better.
or
Dennis never thought his partners would punish him. It's not like them, they're far too kind for it. Just because it was what his father had done, it wasn't what Jack and Robby would do. But when he makes one too many jokes about their age, it seems he may have been wrong...

Summary
“Dr. Mohan, this is Emery Walsh. She’s been assigned to keep you safe until law enforcement can guarantee there’s no longer any threat against you.”
She stands shorter than Samira by just a few inches, dark hair pulled back into a low bun. She isn’t dressed how one might expect her to be, in a dark suit and tie like they often portray in movies and television. Instead, she’s wearing a black t-shirt, sleeves hugging well defined arms and broad shoulders. The shirt is tucked into black slacks that are held up by a belt, a holster on her hip.
Oh, Christ.
Samira skips the pleasantries, “Is the gun really necessary?”
She can hear Dr. Robby let out a sigh, but her eyes don’t leave Emery. She can see the slight tug of her lips, “Based on the information I’ve been given, Dr. Mohan, and the contents of the letters you received, yes. The gun may be necessary.”
or,
samira mohan, a medical researcher working to develop ways to detect and treat a rare form of cancer, receives a series of threatening letters. the pittsburgh cancer institute hires personal security to ensure her safety until law enforcement has the situation under control. enter emery walsh (and her team, of course.)
