Summary
The Ouran High School Host Club, led by the enigmatic Kevin Langue, go on a camping trip to the West Virginian mountains! And by "camp", apparently they mean separate cabins with king-sized mattresses and a bunch of rich people not-so-secretly drinking and doing other illict underage things.
Who is Aaron to judge? He's sure they can handle their own shit. Look at him, he's handling his shit just fine, thank you, even if he's on the verge of losing his academic scholarship and he feels like every single day he's getting closer and closer to a breakdown. And, even if he were to have a breakdown, at least he'd be in good company - something is going on with Herm, and everyone knows what's wrong with Zane, but Aaron's not really sure he's the one who should bring it up.
So, yes. Everything is fine, so long as Aaron chooses between the club that he was forced to join and his academic scholarship that his whole future hinges upon. No biggie, right?

Long before Aaron quit theatre and before he quit wrestling, he quit music lessons. He doesn't think about the reason why (at least, that's what he tells himself) because he has a neat little trick: anytime something comes up that he doesn’t want to deal with, he gets out a mental box, and tucks the offending thought neatly into his mental attic.
The point, that is, of an attic, is that it’s where you store things you think ought to be important, but you never want to actually see again. It’s the wonderful trick of attics! As long as you don’t ascend the ladder and start cracking open boxes, you begin to forget what you’ve stored there. And, over time, you can fool yourself into forgetting that your house even has an attic.
Unless your three closest friends accidentally trigger a trip to the attic, that is.

He thinks, sometimes, in the afterglow of sex and high hormones, that he wouldn't mind dating Phil. Anyone would be lucky to date him – he knows that for a fact. Phil would be the most caring and attentive partner in the world. He'd make you soup when you were sick even though he hates soup. He'd buy you chocolates just because he felt you were a bit sad, even though you're a bit sad a lot. And he'd take whatever you had to give, and he wouldn't ask for any more than you offered even though he deserved the sun, the moon, and all of the universe's creations.
So that's why he also knows he can't date Phil. And that, really, he should start putting some distance between them. Phil would see soon that Dan's bad days outnumber his good, and although he has so far managed to keep Phil sheltered away from the worst of it, nobody could love him at his most self-destructive. He'll lose it eventually, and he'll shout and he'll swear and he'll push, and Phil doesn't deserve any of that.
So, yes, Dan should start putting some distance between them.
