On the 29th of August 2019*, the first group of people who were at Starlight during the tragic events that took place there arrived home.
Now, just over a month later, they are all still learning to live with the ways their lives have changed, to fix broken relationships and try to go back to the way things were before.

Work Title is from "We Have It All" By Pim Stones
A retelling/rewrite of Aphmau's Minecraft Dairies series, rewritten and re-told through the perspective of her most trusted and loyal Guards: Garroth and Laurence.
As these two devotees to their Lord Aphamu follow her through realms like the Nether and Irene's Dimension, they have to balance their adirmation and desire for her hand with the growing tensions of the Region of Ru'aun.
What will do they do when their bloodline comes back to haunt them and their mundane life turns on its head, transforming each of them anew?
Garroth and Laurance learn to rely on each other for solid ground and mending their own broken hearts.

After the fiasco on Starlight, the group is finally ready to return home. But while they were away, Laurance started to experience some strange dreams, as well as some of the other characters on the street. Does this have anything to do with what happened? No one knows.

Basically, another immortal shadow knight au/season 7 fic with a lot of garrance flare thrown in! (We know that shadow knights are immortal, so our Mystreet versions of them may be the same people). Jess announced season 7 (yay! finally!) before I could post these first chapters, so that's why I'm kinda late.
ALSO if this work becomes discontinued, I'll let you all know!! If i dont update for months on end, IT DOESN'T MEAN I'VE ABANDONED THIS i promise (unless i die or smth.)

The only definition that could be used for the feeling of grief is that it's an emotion. It's an emotion that shows itself in different ways within a person. However, everyone does agree that there is a feeling in their heart."
Despite being the less intelligent one in the group, Garroth has an understanding of how the others must feel after the incident. People are hurt and upset, so Garroth decides to help them. Though he seems to forget that he too went through trauma, and that he was the cause of some of it too ;)
Or
Garroth wants to help his friends out with their problems after the incident. But one thing he forgets is that he himself needs to work out some issues.

-well written complex family trauma in the Ro’Meave household(Garroth, though being the favorite, still suffered greatly, just in a different way and he and Zane both envy the other but they both still faced abuse and negligence and this fic covers it well)
-Garroth internalized homophobia arc founded by his fuckass father (a personal hc of mine)
-perfect blend of emotions. had me yelling “KISS HIM YOU FOOL” at the phone several times but despite this ended up fully satisfied with how it ended.
