This came about mostly because I kept needing to bounce around all over the internet looking for guides on how to use the hidden search functions on AO3. In other words, filtering tags and more using the "Search within results" field. It turns out these operators are capable of a lot of useful stuff, but how to do it isn't always super intuitive, so.
