Summary
After the war, Harry Potter is certain of exactly one thing: he loves his godson, and Teddy Lupin deserves all the love in the world. When his attempt to legally adopt Teddy is rejected, Harry is desperate enough to consider anything. It all sounded very open-and-shut. He could do this. Three short dates with three strangers who had also chosen to humiliate themselves by attending a dating-event. He'd even get to have a few drinks in the meantime, pink and bubbly as they might be. Honestly, how bad could it be?
Harry reluctantly agrees to participate in an upscale speed-dating service (curtesy of his bad, bad friends) and it might have been alright if it wasn't for faulty magic and/or a ridiculous coincidence, that lands him in a cozy but inescapable lounge with Draco Malfoy, who he hasn't seen in years.

Summary
The war never happens.
Harry Potter successfully kills Voldemort during the final challenge of the Triwizard Tournament, in his fourth year. Ever since, he’s just been wandering through the Wizarding world, unsure of his place. There is no prophecy to continue to fulfill, no Dark Lord to defeat. No clear shape of what comes next. The world quietly rearranges itself around peace.
Everything is fine.
Ron and Hermione don’t last in the aftermath of it. Nothing really does, when there’s no war left to hold people together.
Harry is restless without someone to fight.
Hermione is trying to rebuild herself and find her place in the wizarding world.
And Draco Malfoy is a hot mess in a post-uprising world that he was never meant to live in.Draco tells himself Harry is just a curiosity.
Hermione is his academic rival.
Neither means anything serious. He’s just bored, and they’re each serving his plot line.But he keeps coming back to both of them anyway, compulsively.
And when the war you were raised to fight in never happens, wanting the wrong things is the only thing that still feels dangerous.
