Yoongi perks up, swivels, spots Taehyung stepping from the hall into the room and he’s in fitted slacks and the baby blue button-up from earlier and he looks divine.
Yoongi’s heart just stopped and he’s not sure how to get it beating again. Namjoon’s a doctor. A doctor in training, but some form of medical professional regardless. Namjoon knows CPR and cardiac arrest symptoms and all that shit. He’ll know Yoongi’s dying.

The Twenty-seven-year-old Park Jimin is happy with the life he has built for himself. He has twenty-five little pups each year to look after as their Kindergarten Teacher. He has a Hyper-protective Best Friend living nearby to wind down every day. He has an Affectionate Father that loves him to death. He has Friends and People in his life that make him feel good.
He doesn’t have everything - of course. But he’s content and grateful for what he has. And that’s what truly matters in life for him. He does feel lonely without a Partner sometimes. But that, too, doesn’t last long when his Omega forces him to remember how every Alpha he had tried to find appealing went unnoticed to him at the end of the day.
The Omega only has one day. One day every year where he would allow himself to feel differently - because he has lost someone. His Family has. A Baby Alpha Brother many years back. Jimin can’t overcome that pain. Especially when there are times where he can still feel the said Alpha’s scent lingering in the air he breathes. And he doesn’t know why.
