“I can’t believe you rented out an entire movie theater,” Jeno says, tone still full of shock and a little bit of fondness Jaemin doesn’t miss. He reaches for the popcorn, and chuckles to himself as he pops a piece into his mouth. “Half and half too? You really wanted to make this date special.”
The smile never drops from Jaemin’s face, it only widens. “Of course, I think we deserve something nice after all our hard work this year. And I wanted to take you somewhere nice, it’s been a while since we went on a date. I want this one to be extra special.” Jaemin’s voice drips with affection.

Summary
The first person Jihoon kills is the music teacher who tells him that he’ll never make it as a clarinetist because he’s too small. Then it’s another Pledis trainee who gets in his way. After he becomes Woozi, he mostly kills random hookups when he’s on tour, all of them carefully staged to cover his tracks. Jihoon becomes good at it: singing, and killing, and not being caught.
So murdering three strangers while on a forced hiatus home in Busan is not part of the plan.
And neither is Soonyoung, the man-eating merfolk who insists that because Jihoon dumped bodies into Soonyoung’s ocean, Jihoon and Soonyoung are now married in the eyes of the sea.

As unexpected as the question is, Jaemin lets out a laugh. He notices the way Jeno’s nose wrinkles at the sound, the slight twitch of his eyebrows.
“I’m not,” he replies, because he doesn’t know what else to say. “You don’t look like an omega, so it just caught me off guard. I wouldn’t have invaded your personal space like that these past few months if I’d known you were an omega.”
“Why not?”
“Because it’s rude,” Jaemin explains after a moment of silence. “Are you going to report me for harassment?”Jaemin thought his new coworker was an alpha.

Hyunjin's dark eyes found Jeongin’s tearful ones.
“Not dead,” Hyunjin said with a poisonous smile. “Just gay.”
Or: Jeongin has spent years mourning the loss of his first love, a love he was told by his church was sinful and wrong, but one he just couldn't stop from blooming in his chest. Now, years later, Jeongin meets Hyunjin again, very alive and also very different from how he used to be back in their shared church.
