Summary
L is Ray from the Promised Neverland.
When they escaped the nightmare that was their childhood home, Emma lost sight of Ray at some point in their time in the forest. Though it seemed a certainty he was dead, Emma remained stubbornly certain that she would know if he'd died.
Eventually responsibility for these children now in her care won out over her pressing need to search, and so it was tabled for a long while.
Meanwhile, Ray adopts the moniker of L in this strange world he's woken up in. The Kira investigation rolls around and he meets one Light Yagami, and distraction presents itself in a way it never has before even in a career such as the one he's secured for himself.
But what kind of wrench does it throw into said investigation when a ghost from his past he thought long buried comes boldly knocking right on the door of their base? -

Those stars her guardian had said lived in her eyes and in Lucifer's...if youth originates from the very force of life itself, then what are we when we allow ourselves to forget the stars?

Persephone Morningstar was born shortly after Lucifer's fall. Worried for her and her child's safety, Eve brought her to some of Lucifer's most trusted when he was in Heaven. Adam, acting out of vindictive jealousy, quickly proved Eve's suspicions as to her fate correct. She was scattered into atoms.
Unable to leave her to suffer the same fate once again (or something worse) she must reunite with her father and sister down in Hell... and encounter many faces both familiar and not along the way.

Angel tightened his grip, driving his knee up between the asshole’s legs and letting him crumple to the floor in a cursing heap. “I don’t do that shit no more,” he sneered down at him.
The donkey demon rose shakily to his feet, glaring at them all. “Guess that shit was bound to stop workin’ eventually.”
That gave Angel pause. “Huh? The fuck’re ya talkin’ about?” And then it dawned on him. “Oh. Oh, shit!” He whirled around, desperately scanning the club.
“What? What’s the matter?” Husk demanded, following his gaze.
“Where the fuck is Smiles?”
Husk’s lip curled. “He probly got bored and left. Why?”
“‘Cause I’m pretty sure those shots he said tasted like ass were full of Val’s fuckin’ love potion.”
AKA
The Radio Demon goes on a rampage after unwittingly consuming Val’s love potion, and everyone finds out desire comes in many forms.
