Thranduil was in a bad mood. Not that he ever was in a really good mood, but still, it was a really dark day for all his servants. The pale mask on the Kings face was icy and emotionless, nobody dared to bring bad news to him or even do a single wrong move. The consequences were terrible. Even though Thranduil didn’t think a few nights as prisoner was a terrible punishment for a servant that served him the wrong wine.

Summary
Glorfindel and Erestor have a long history together, but Erestor's troubled past has prevented their relationship from progressing as they would have chosen. We join them just after Fin is jolted into proposing, and Erestor has accepted.
A simple trip north to gather a rare herb, throws them into the path of another with a painful past, as a chance run-in with Uruk hai begins to unravel a dark history of elven slavery that will play a key part in the events to come. The couple find themselves wrapped up in the fight to save a future champion betrayed, and an elfling from a line that was never destined to continue.
Positioned between The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring, with a history that spans back to just before the Fall of Gondolin.
This story is part of a series that has some very smutty chapters, but whilst this main storyline has mature themes, the pure smut has been annexed off into separate chapters for those who wish to read them! Smutty chapters can be found in Bound - Naughty Bitz! Apologies if this breaks the flow for some readers, but I will try to post links in the chapter end notes where there is a jump.
