Summary
They built the Thing long past the outskirts of town. It was far enough away so no respectable people: good - normal - people, would have to see it and think about the degenerates locked away there. Or worse, hear them.
They built the Thing out of solid red brick - a rusty red dredged up from the clay in the rivers. A good local clay fired by good local boys building an economy and industry in the town. When it rained, the slick facade of the building looked like it was bleeding - yet another reason for it to remain out of sight.
Of course, the problem with towns: they grow.
A fic about Arkham before and after the bats, and what makes Gotham the city it is.

The next, he opens his eyes, a tube miraculously doing the breathing for him, no pain, clean light up above, and a holy angel looking down on him.
The Convict knows it was an Angel, even though it looked like a person, because no one’s eyes could ever be that kind.

As hunger and thirst grows, their captor Ra's Al Ghul offers succor in exchange for a kiss from his beloved Detective. Dick's disgust turns to horror when he realizes the man isn't after Bruce, but another member of his family.
When every single member of their family is willing to jump on a grenade for every other member, their confinement is a powder keg waiting to go off as secrets are revealed.

Summary
Adachi is panicking about his upcoming date with Kurosawa when everything he knows turns upside down, again. Only this time, the status quo shifting isn't him gaining psychic powers. No, this time there's a deadly virus sweeping through the city, infecting everyone on the street, and causing the dead to rise.
Everyone is trapped in the office, waiting for government intervention during the zombie outbreak. As supplies dwindle and office politics rear their ugly head, Adachi and Kurosawa struggle to keep everyone calm while also keeping their burgeoning relationship under wraps.

Summary
Joel and Ellie struggle to adjust to a completely new society from a background of overidealized nuclear family structure (Texas) and rising fascism (FEDRA, and also sometimes Texas).
A series of unconnected one shots showing Ellie and Joel slowly acclimatizing to Jackson. They both bring their own baggage but together they can work through it. Sometimes comedic, sometimes dramatic, these one shots are in no clear order, with the only overlap being some Jackson residents.
