"Thirty-seven days," Lewis had announced, three weeks ago, showing him his phone with the kind of pride usually reserved for podiums. The little green owl stared back at Charles, smug and unbothered. "I'm not breaking it."
Charles had said, good for you, and meant it, and thought nothing more of it.
In hindsight, he should have thought more of it.

The picture changed again, and Pepper gasped sharply.
Tony Stark lay flat on his back.
The billionaire subsequently breathed in and blinked awake in a half startled grunt. Pepper and Happy watched in frozen shock as Tony watched the ceiling a moment before turning his head to the side. Then his head went back again, and he closed his eyes with a groan. The camera trailed over to the source of Tony’s displeasure. There at his side, still unconscious, was Captain Steve Rogers.

Several months after Civil War, a new threat presents itself, in which Tony, Steve, Peter, Sam, Wanda, Clint, Natasha, Bruce and Bucky are captured and thrown together on an Island that had been manufactured by Hydra. Trapped, The Avengers have no other choice but to rely on both their wits and one another as they brave the elements, face off against new foes eager to make a name for themselves, and of course, try and make their way home alive.
(So far, the only thing they can agree on is keeping spider kid from dying, which is a pretty low bar, but it’s a start.)
Oh, and they have no idea that their every move is being filmed and broadcasted live on national television.

There was a haze of arousal taking over Lewis’s deep eyes, that he was certain of. It wasn’t often Charles came out with something absolutely filthy like that, but when he did, he meant it. And it made Lewis a puddle of bones and flesh underneath him.
“Maybe…” His breath caught in his throat, and he swallowed against the dryness Charles’s words had suddenly caused. He watched the flicker of mischief run over his expression, the quirk of his lips, the way his hand was still planted firmly on his chest.
“I’ll remember that,” Charles replied, voice low, eyes fixed on Lewis. “But not tonight. We aren’t doing that tonight.”
“Are we not?” Lewis’s fingers were still wrapped around the back of Charles’s neck, but now rather than holding him in place, he felt far more like he was holding on to him for stability. The tables had turned fast. That never usually happened. Not without a solid fight.
“Non.” The word, the accent, made Lewis’s eyes flutter, just a little. “Tonight, you are mine to look after.”
