Summary
Wolfwood feels his legs prostrate, they genuinely weaken. For a second, he considers giving in to the sensation, to just drop to his knees and worship. He’d, without a doubt, start begging, pleading, asking for forgiveness. Could Eriks free him from his sins? He certainly got the looks and voice. But the truth is, no, Eriks couldn’t. That man is just a clone – a coping mechanism, conscious or not. He wouldn’t be the one to clear Wolfwood. It has to be him and him only.
Wolfwood mourns Vash and tries to get rid of Eriks in the process.

Summary
They both let each other share a moment of peace, filled with light smiles and the afternoon sun shining down on them.
Then it appears again. The slow warmth from beneath Hans’ chest, it's rising up his throat, making his heart beat quicker and the urge to simply walk away from-
“It’s back!” Hans nearly screams and throws his hands in the air. Just the thought of it being back made his heart beat even faster. Meanwhile, Henry looked like a deer caught in headlights.
“What?”
“It’s back! It’s back because you- because you didn’t take it serious!” Hans scolds, voice rising as he turns away from Henry. His hands slide through his undercut, which he should get cut soon, before grabbing a handful of his blonde strands.
“What are you on about-“ Henry tries to reach out, taking a step towards Hans. His brows furrowed in clear confusion and slight concern.
“My demon, Henry!”
“Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me…”
in other words: Hans fell in love with Henry and has trouble realizing it

“Would they be cold? Probably. Sweet or rather bitter? Maybe even sour? Would they melt in your mouth or only thaw when you swallowed them?” Vash listens to him carefully. His eyes are focused on Wolfwood's own and his lips form an ever-widening smile. Wolfwood pauses before he starts grunting and giving Vash's hand a soft squeeze.
“And what do snowflakes taste like?”
“I don't know. Try them.” Wolfwood grins as he points up with his right hand and raises an eyebrow.

As usual, the four have to rest in a hotel to stay the night. Normally they would all have a separate room (sometimes Meryl and Milly share a room because they don't want to waste money) to rest, but rooms are quite expensive in this town. Meryl quickly decides to share a room with Milly, which means Vash and Wolfwood have to share one too.
Or Vash has no rizz towards the girls but weirdly towards Wolfwood…

They get in a fight, Vash runs off, and then maybe sorta fakes his death on accident. Somehow, he's surprised when Wolfwood acts like the world fell apart.

“Oh nooooo,” Wolfwood drawled as the deputy moved from the wall, “don’t get the big, hulking, buff guy on me!” He dramatically leaned back in his chair, head hanging over it. “That’s exactly the 𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘦 of what a sod like me would want!”
Deputy Josephson briefly halted next to Wolfwood, hands twitching for just a second. Wolfwood couldn’t help barking out a laugh at the mere sight. Too easy.
“You ever handled a man of my caliber before?” Wolfwood batted his eyes. “Not to worry, I’ve had my run around the block. I’ll be gentle.”

Wolfwood would just like to have Vash to himself for one night. He does not get that. So he decides to make it everyone else's problem.

"Mr Vash, Mr Vash! Isn't this just your colour?"
Milly hands Vash something small and cylindrical, glinting a dull brass in the morning light. For one remarkably stupid second, Wolfwood thinks it's a bullet - despite the fact Milly doesn't carry bullets, that thing is far too big even for Vash's monster of a .45 caliber, and neither Milly nor Vash would ever get that excited over a weapon.
They chatter for a moment, unaware of Wolfwood watching them. Vash pulls at the cylinder, revealing a lid. There's a stick of something red and greasy underneath.
Oh, Wolfwood realises with a start. It's a tube of lipstick.
Vash starts experimenting with lipstick. Wolfwood is exceedingly normal about it.
