"You were dead," he whispered, gentle as a leaf sailing along the surface of water, terrified to break the tension holding it afloat. "I—I planted...flowers," sharp teeth poked careful into his bottom lip, "alliums, I mean. I planted them in front of your house. I thought you might appreciate it."
Tommy exhaled, something of a mix between a scoff and a lighthearted chuckle. "I'm sure they look great, Boo," he said. The passing memory of his best friend fluttered away like a butterfly, sick of alliums and searching the bright and beautiful world for flowers it can love more, fuller, than ever. He thought Ranboo looked strikingly similar to the monochromatic dianthus chinensis heddewigii; perhaps a butterfly would prefer that.
Or, Ranboo finds Tommy in a field of alliums some time after his death.

“I—I am,” Gilbert confessed, sounding distressed. “You’re partially transparent.”
Oz glanced down at his hands and then beside him to Alice. He smiled, though it didn’t quite reach his eyes that time. “We are,” he replied simply. “And you—well, you’re opaque, aren’t you?”
Gilbert sputtered uselessly, “I would hope so.”
In which Gilbert winds up in a haunted dorm room and, somehow, miraculously, befriends the ghosts inhabiting it.

Piers lost—he always had, and he figured he always would in the future as well. He spun himself around, slowly, allowing Leon to guide his hips, and met Leon’s lips with a greed that even he hadn’t acknowledged within himself. Thin fingers gripped at larger, darker biceps as Piers braced himself against the other man and drowned in the exhilaration of the moment.
Or, Piers tends to get lost in Leon, even when he isn’t supposed to.

“Leo/need…?” Shiho says.
Honami looks like she’s five seconds from driving her palm into her face. “Not the band! I mean like… us! Because apparently you—“ She motions to Saki— “are telling Kohane-chan it’s our six-month anniversary, you—“ She glances at Shiho— “are convinced we have a week to go until two-months, and you—“ She turns to Ichika, then hesitates, seeing the look on her face. “…I don’t think you have any idea what’s going on.”
“I really… don’t,” Ichika admits helplessly, running her fingers through her hair.
Saki sputters. “But you’re the one who first asked all of us out!”

Or, it’s Saki’s birthday today, and also her group’s sixth-month anniversary of dating!
Except… Shiho thinks it’s been two, Ichika is convinced she’s just pining, and Honami believes they’re all trapped in a situationship. Yikes.

Adam thins his lips before letting out a sigh through his nose.
“I don’t know,” he replies quietly. “Eventually, I guess? I mean… You don’t meet a lot of people like me, and I don’t like to tell a lot of people either. They get it in their heads that I can, like, help them get their own little pet dragons or something. Or they could tell hunters, or they could fucking… I don’t know, probably think I can teach them how to do it. It’s annoying.”
(or, magical healer lawrence gets an odd request from adam over the phone that leads to him learning a bit of a secret. it's not a bad one, but it is a little surprising.)

Adam and Lawrence both make it out of the bathroom, but just as how Lawrence's foot will stay there for eternity, left to rot, part of Adam's sanity will also remained locked in, destined to never see the light of day again.
