Summary
Aizen’s hand stays soft even as it ghosts over the bandages, lingering on the areas where blood has stained them. For all that the wound has been healed, the edges sewn shut by skilled hands, the bandages are soaked through. Painted red in places where the blood has stubbornly refused to clot.
It matches the blood that has stained his clothes and has dried to his skin, turning the tan skin rust red, and flaking off with every brush against it. It matches what he is. Makes the perfect picture of everything he is, rebellion, destruction, and failure.
Set directly after Grimmjow loses his arm.

Between the thicker pressure of reishi, and the full concentration of his scent, a wave of vertigo assaults Grimmjow and he silently thanks his luck of already sitting down. He wants to roll around in Kurosaki's scent, to drown under it until it permanently seeps into his skin. He has to blink himself back into focus, catching a slight faraway look in Kurosaki's eyes that he suspects means that he's talking with his sword.
“Why do ya want to be scented so bad anyway?” Grimmjow stands up, annoyed with him being physically higher now, and leans in close to glare suspiciously at Kurosaki.
“It's a part of you - us - and I want to learn so I can be good for you.”
