Summary
Nick and Charlie have successfully started their family after Nick has given birth to a little girl named Amelia. They're happier than they've ever been, but Charlie's been quite sick recently. A visit to the doctor showed that Charlie is finally pregnant, so he made an appointment with his OB/GYN - who found that he was actually pregnant with twins.
This is meant to be read after Part 1 - "Having Hope", but it is not totally necessary. Enjoy!

This story is all about the unlikely ways in which a line of communication can be opened between two strangers, and all the ways in which that can be a portal to something unexpected. The basic premise of this story, the meet-cute as it were, actually happened in life, the subsequent Nick and Charlie of it all is entirely fictional and arose out of my need for a sweet and fluffy story. All the locations, names, dates and details have been changed to protect the unaware and are entirely fictional.

After the war with Gaea Nico spent three days in the infirmary recovering like he had promised Will. And he helped him out in there for another week after that. The two of them quickly grew close, but instead of going for it, Nico chickened out and fled - first to the Underworld, then to Camp Jupiter.
