Marc is faced with his biggest nightmare: freedom. And dealing with everything he's been avoiding. Luckily, Steven is there to help him through it.
"We're free now!" Steven says, the morning after Khonshu released them, "We have to celebrate."
"How bout we get off the goddamn floor first?" Marc grumbles, still face down from tripping over Steven's ankle restraints.
Steven doesn't even seem fazed. He drags them out and buys a grocery store sheet cake that says 'Congratulations!" in beautiful flowing script. Underneath that, Steven writes, "for escaping servitude to a dumb pigeon."

Jackie chucked the closest object (a pack of Flaming Flamers chips from Willie Jack) at him, but he didn't even bother ducking. The bag passed clean through him, landing on the floor with a satisfying thud, right on top of her "Free Cheese" shirt.
"Perks of being a ghost, shitass," he smirked.
"Fucker," Jackie said, scowling at him.

Summary
"Be back before you know it," Matt says, rushing out the door.
"Love you!" Foggy calls after him, knowing he'll hear.
Matt can't say anything, just runs into the night until he can't think anymore, until he feels a pleasant fuzzy static as he moves out of his brain and into his body, into the dance of fighting, of hurting, of holy, blessed pain. Matt punches a guy in the head so hard blood sprays all over Matt's face. The guy didn't even do anything that bad, is just a low-level drug dealer. Baptism of blood, Matt thinks, but he can never purify himself or wash away his sins, not with all the blood in the world. Mechanically, Matt moves on to the next criminal he finds, and punches him over and over again until he can't think again.
[This is a continuation of part 1, with a time skip to a few months ahead where Matt and Foggy are officially boyfriends (!!).

A spiked heartbeat, now rushing towards him to grab him as Matt collapses against… fuck, what was his new roommate's name again?
"'M fine, Foggy," Matt slurs."
An AU where Matt and Foggy become roommates only after college. Matt gets hurts from Daredevil-ing and tries and fails to hide it from his new roommate Foggy, who insists on taking care of him. Nothing graphic, but Matt is Matt and struggles with punishing himself/taking painkillers/loss of control.
I like to think in every universe these 2 adorable idiots find their way to each other. What I love about Matt/Foggy is the essential sweetness/softness/safe space of their relationship. Matt always thinks he's more fucked up than he really is, or more unredeemable, ya know? But then Foggy Nelson always finds him and holds on tight.
