Summary
Have you ever wanted to play the hit mobile rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage! inside your favorite AO3 fic? No? Well for some reason I wanted to see if it was possible, so this fic exists now. This took about 7 hours to write the code for. I still don't know why I did this. But it's pretty funny!
Device Requirements:
- Laptop with Firefox recommended (Chrome & co. is a bit buggy)
- A big enough screen to render the virtual "tablet" (you might need to rotate your phone)
- A mouse/touchpad/anything that can trigger a "hover" event
- Anything that can "click" (Touchscreen laptop recommended but not required) -

All of them awake at three in the morning because they couldn't bear to be in bed without each other. The thought fills her with a mix of amusement and affection, and suddenly she knows what they should do.
“Let's go outside,” Honami says. “Watch the stars.”

Ichika blinks slowly, disoriented and confused. Why is it so dark? Where is she? Where are her friends? As her vision gradually comes back to her, all her questions are answered: she’s in the movie theater, the credits are rolling, the lights are fading back to a dim, and the faces of Saki, Honami, and Shiho all peer down at her as they stand around her chair.
“Hrk—“ she groans, to answer Shiho’s question.
“She did fall asleep,” Saki says, and laughs, shooting Shiho a smug grin. “I won the bet. You owe me money now.”

Saki’s friends like to collect things; she thinks most people do. Ichika collects Miku merch – especially CDs, Honami owns quite a few different sets of drumsticks, and Shiho – though they would never admit it – collects Phenny plushies and keychains like their life depends on it.
Saki, though – Saki collects memories.
Saki collects memories, lets them take up almost all of the space on her phone, and she’s content with that. She loves to scroll through her albums and see all of them: blurry photos from when she was just a child who didn’t know how to use the camera very well, photos that they would take on her phone whenever she left it alone with them for a second. Photos from when Saki was in the hospital, when Ichika was the only one she saw. Memories that were painful to look upon, but still brought her joy, because she knew she still had someone by her side.
