Summary
At one moment, Enver Gortash is dead. And then he isn’t. Even the dark prison cell is better than the torture he had to endure in the afterlife. Except another torture awaits him in the form of a rather goofy and painfully honest white dragonborn, who suddenly decides to see the good in Enver’s heart.
Unfortunately for Enver Gortash, Durge might be right. What if there is some good buried in him deep down?

Summary
At this point, Enver was almost looking forward to his execution. It would most certainly be a grand event, all in honour — or dishonour — of him. At least it would be better than sitting on the damp floor of a prison cell, bored out of his mind. Waiting for something, anything, to happen.
Something like the bright light suddenly flooding his cell.
Magic distorted the empty space next to him, emitting a pure white glow; Enver could only stare, bewildered, as it began to take form. Stretching, widening, quickly settling into a vaguely humanoid shape — then expanding as it faded, leaving fizzling orbs of light, and-
...Durge.
In which Durge spares Gortash, breaks him out of prison, and runs off into the sunset with him.

"Does it excite you, Banite?" Durge's voice is low and breathy, cool air hitting heated skin from their closeness. "Knowing that I could do anything I wanted to you, and you'd be powerless to stop me?"
"Hah!" The sound is a bit too strained, too breathless, to pass as confident. "I'd like to see you try, Bhaalist."
Glowing eyes study him, narrowing as they attempt to work out his intentions. "Careful. That almost sounds like an invitation."
"Perhaps it is."
