“What?” Wilson muttered with as much annoyance and exasperation as House expected at that hour. Briefly, he wished he could twirl around his cane to give his hands something to do. Too bad it was a whole two parking spaces away from him.
“Come get me.”
Wilson sighed deeply. “Where are you? It better be a ditch or something. Are you drunk right now? You sound sober enough to drive yourself home.”
“I’m in the hospital parking lot.”
A long moment of silence passed. Well, it would have been silent, but House heard Wilson shuffling around. Hopefully getting his ass out of bed and getting back to work. “House, I’m tired.”

Summary
"House has read every paper on it from early publications in 100-year-old books, to recent things in Nature and other prestigious journals. It is understood that humans in love have a physical manifestation of that, though the “love organ” or whatever that is has never been found. The only time it is found is when it’s necrotic, infected, and dying from the flowers and plants taking root in there. It’s not in healthy individual lungs, so no one knows where it hides if it’s there at all. Secondly, not all unrequited love or a perception of unrequited love triggers Hanahaki. Psychiatric journals publish every day conflicting evidence on what the psychological trigger is. It’s really hard to say, and then there’s the groups of people who talk about destiny, fate, and soulmates and it gets a thousand times more convoluted.
A take on House MD in which Gregory House has had a chronic form of Hanahaki Disease for 18 years that is now going into relapse while he lives with Wilson in the Condo (set during season 6-ish).

Summary
The condo is familiar though. There’s still that unstable step that his leg hates, and there’s that well cared for common space and waxed hallway floors that he hates the smell of, enough that he still remembers gagging in the mornings from it. He passes neighbors he recognizes, some of which seem to remember him albeit with much more concern on his face. He knows he looks awful right now, though he doesn’t really care. He passes the door to Nora’s place, wondering if she still thinks they’re awful people to be around after Wilson and him played gay chicken with each other, yet another charged part of their relationship that was as fleeting as his time in this very condo.
What if in season 7 when House relapses and Cuddy dumps him, he takes Wilson's offer to move back into the condo? This fic is a s7 fix-it of sorts rewrite, in which House moves back into the condo and heals form the breakup (and there will be no car crashing into Cuddy's fucking house)
