“Sage. Wake up.”
The Sage was rudely awoken by a finger prodding his cheek. Shortly after that method of waking one’s husband up was proven ineffective, the Recluse decided to shake him. Not as gently as he normally would - no, of course not. On this fine morning, he may as well have thrown the Sage directly into an earthquake simulation.
“O-okay! Okay! I’m up!”

Summary
Villanelle: A highly structured 19 line poem with French origins, consisting of five tercets and one quatrain. It features a strict rhyme scheme and two repeating refrains.
Truthless Recluse had noticed a change between himself and the Sage. It was only small, almost imperceptible, but undeniable. If the blond had to pinpoint when the change occurred it was probably the day he'd found the Sage crying outside his Spire. The day the recluse remembers, with embarrassing clarity, that he had kissed the Sage. Had such possessive thoughts about the other cookie. The hermit was immensely grateful that the scholar was asleep when it happened. Otherwise he was sure he'd have never heard the end of it. Things had changed though. Making him wonder if the illustrious Sage of Truth had been awake and heard, and felt, everything.
Taking place a few weeks after the events of 'Negative Review'. Truthless Recluse has to handle the realisation that he's in love with the Sage of Truth, and the terrifying thought that the Sage might just love him back.
He doesn't handle it well.

Sage finally fell silent after yet another of his rants. He stared eagerly at Recluse, tapping his fingers almost impatiently as he awaited an answer.
“... Sure. Why?”
“It’s Easter!”
“I suppose it is. I don’t celebrate, though.”
Recluse glanced up from packing his bag, raising an eyebrow. Neither did Sage, for that matter; he valued his own logic over the words of religion.
“Don’t you like chocolate?”
“N- … Oh. You just want the egg hunt.”or: he gets more than chocolate hint hint

Summary
The fabled Peak of Truth. Every so called "truth seeker" tries time and time again to reach whatever truth lies at the top. But, every cookie who's tried has been pushed back, almost as if a barrier prevents them. As more cookies descend from their journeys empty handed, or if crumbled bits of them are found at the base of the mountain, doubt spreads. Is there even anything awaiting them? What even is the truth they seek?
As this doubt spread, less cookies sought the answer. After all, who in their right mind would want to risk being crumbled if there's a chance that nothing awaits them up top?
