Summary
"You're playing doctor in a barn, Kent."
The humor left Clark’s face. It simply vanished, replaced by a cold stillness that made his massive frame look less like a friendly farm boy and more like a cliff face. "I know exactly what we don't have, Dr. Lane," he said, his voice dropping into a register that made the wooden counter under Lois’s hands vibrate slightly. "I know we don't have a blood bank. I know we don't have a CT scanner. And I know that if someone has an aortic rupture on Main Street, they die before the helicopter can get off the pad in Wichita. That’s why we spend ten minutes talking to the patients. Because out here, prevention is the only thing keeping them alive."
Or, banished to a rural outreach clinic after a professional blowout in Metropolis, trauma surgeon Lois Lane expects three months of pure boredom. Instead, she gets thrown into a world of tight spaces, midnight shifts and a human Clark Kent who is entirely too good at his job. Also entirely too distracting in a shared on-call room.

Summary
“Sorry it’s so late—” Clark stopped in his tracks, midsentence, when his eyes landed on his girlfriend. She was sprawled out on her couch, the TV on at a low volume, her eyes half lidded in that sleepy way they got sometimes after a long day. Her hair was loose curls covering the pillow underneath her head. She smiled at him, mocking innocence, as he scanned over her body, his mouth opening and closing like suffocating fish. She had a pair of flannel pajama shorts on (matching ones to a pair of his own, which always made him feel warm inside), but most importantly, she was wearing a bright blue, tight tank top, riding up on her hips to show a large sliver of her stomach, and emboldened with his red and yellow crest on her chest.
Or, Clark is welcomed into Lois' apartment by the sight of his girlfriend in a Superman themed tank-top, and he can't hold himself back.

Summary
Lois looks over at Clark, whose expression softens the moment Jeremiah is whisked away by Cat to give them enough time to cool off. His glare and scowl is immediately replaced with a soft smile and a glint in his eyes when he looks at Lois. “What was that about, Smallville?” Lois asks him, turning in her stool to face him completely.
Clark shrugs, taking a glance at her lips before looking back up at her eyes. “Nothing… just… didn’t like him touching you.” He admits, the bar’s music still pounding, everything around them didn’t shift except the air between them. He’s quiet with his words, almost ashamed that he acted the way that he did, not ashamed for the reason though.
Lois clicks her tongue, but she grabs the front of his shirt, dragging him off of the stools, pulling him towards her with her eyes locked on one place in the bar; the bathrooms. “You. Me. Bathroom. Now.”
Or... celebrating Lois Lane's birthday in a downtown bar was going great, up until one of Lois' ex-boyfriends shows up and decides to flirt with Lois directly in front of her 6'4, himbo hunk of a boyfriend, and who knew jealousy looked so hot on him when he bends her over the bathroom sink?

Summary
I'm briefly making this public again, but if you like it, please consider sharing this actual fic and sharing it with me here, rather than downloading or sharing elsewhere <3
Here's the thing about Clark Kent that nobody knew:
He had rules.
Not the kind of rules his parents had taught him—be kind, work hard, use your abilities to help people. Those were givens, baked into his DNA (or whatever passed for DNA in a Kryptonian). No, these were different. These were survival rules, developed over years of trial and error, designed to keep him sane in a world where he would never quite belong.Clark Kent is perfect, ridiculously good looking, and completely commitment-phobic—he has to be, so he can be the Superman everyone needs. Until he meets Lois Lane, who fucks everything up in less than 24 hours—except she doesn’t remember any of it.
*AU but LOTS of references/rewrites of canon. Very loosely based on 50 First Dates - but without the gross stuff, more of an Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind homage // prev titled ‘can’t live in a world where you don’t love me’

Summary
Lois and Clark were fighting.
Although, Lois didn’t know if it could rightfully be called that. There was no 'honey, you left the seat up again' or 'dear, you forgot to take the trash out' or 'really, babe, you haven’t figured out laundry by now?'
A couple had to actually talk to each other for that.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Lois and Clark are having marital issues as their jobs take over their lives. Perry sends them on assignment together to work it out.
