“Where--what the hell are you?!” His mate didn’t back away, instead he held his ground with claws bared, and his eyes flared a bright yellow. “Where is my pack?”
Stiles snuffed at him and tucked his tail around his hindclaws. Wolf. Well, that explained the odd smelling humans. He leaned forward, just a bit, and flicked his tongue out at the man, who lashed out with his sharp-tipped fingers. Pleased with his headstrong mate, he trilled again before shifting to his bipedal form with a suddenness that made the other man jerk back into a defensive stance.
“I’m a dragon, just in case the wings and scales didn’t give it away. I’d breathe fire too, but I think that would be just a bit insensitive, all things considered.” Stiles quirked a brow. “What is your name, wolf?”
“Peter Hale. Where is my family?” He darted at Stiles and grasped his throat.

John has never seen his son like this, or maybe he has, when Claudia died, but it's different somehow, more, and terrifying because he has no idea why. He's closed half the distance between them before he even has time to think it through, but it doesn't matter because Stiles has bridged the rest and flung himself into John's arms.
He falls apart like that, holding onto John so tightly that it's hard to breathe, but he can't care about that right now because his son is sobbing and chanting "Daddy," desperately into his shoulder.

"I took the GPS out of Roscoe and I hacked into some of your accounts to get him travel-ready. I don't care where we go Peter, but I don't want to go back to Beacon Hills," there's a desperation in his voice that makes Peter's skin crawl, though he has no idea why, "please."
"Okay," Peter agrees softly.

That is an odd thing for a child to be- and, seriously, from what she can tell- asking an adult. Even odder asking it of Peter who, despite his interest in the macabre, is a fairly gentle soul by all accounts, at least, that she knows of, because he actually seems to be thinking about it.
"I make no promises," he finally says, softly, honestly, and Stiles just gives him a long hard look before sighing and nodding in understanding.
"Well, I guess it isn't fair to ask that of you, really, under the circumstances, so, how about... Don't kill anyone who doesn't deserve it- by my standards, not your own, you fucking psycho."
"Hey, I'm not that bad," Peter sniffs, and Stiles narrows his eyes, "anymore."

Daniel 'Danny' Swan was Bella's twin brother, and having been born within two minutes of each other, neither one really cared who was first and technically 'oldest'.
Bella certainly acted like the oldest though, and when she had asked Danny to come with her in her self ascribed exile to Forks, Washington to live with their father, Charlie Swan, Danny didn't take much convincing. Forks wasn't so bad to Danny, despite the small school without a Track team and the library that was only useful if you needed to write a high school essay for your English Literature class.
Things in Forks start to sour though as Bella becomes increasingly wrapped up in Edward Cullen, and Danny gets dragged in.
