A tall, gaunt man appears before Helaena as she embroiders on the floor of her sitting room. His clothing, a flat grey, has "P6" emblazoned across the chest of his tunic. His head is shaved, his feet are bare, and his skin has clearly not seen the sun in years. He has the look of a prisoner.
"So do you," the man says. "Helaena Targaryen."
Helaena knows she did not speak. She smiles. "Well met, Dylan Faden."
He gives her a dry smile back. She immediately feels a kinship of sorts.

Jesse wakes up in a cold sweat, chest squeezing the way it does when she's scared sometimes. She tiptoes into Dylan's future room with her blanket wrapped around her. The silence and the dark is worse than her room, but she is too scared to turn around to the equally dark and silent hallway. So she climbs into Dylan's bed, curls up around the empty space where Dylan isn't--where he should be--and cries like she hasn't done since she was eleven. [Mind the tags.]
