Out of everything that he expected to see in the woods that night - the woods home to old tall tales of monsters who snatched up children that ventured too close - she was the last thing on that list. Summary
You and Steve had a thing, and it was fun while it lasted, but Russian ploys and Mind Flayer business really kills romance. He moves on, and you do too, to the last person he would expect.
But then, with even more Upside Down shit going on, you're both thrust back to work together, and you don't want to break off with Eddie. But it doesn't seem like Eddie wants you to let Steve go, either.
