“Help me?” Richie asks, more like a plea than a favor. And sure, Eddie is stupid and masochistic but he's not insane. And he's not about to bottle-feed water to his drunk best friend and unfortunate crush. That just isn't going to happen.
Richie looks up at him for the first time since this hellish conversation began. His eyes are big glassy green orbs. Stupidly sweet and dizzy. He pouts in a way that has Eddie's hands twitching to reach out and cup Richie's peachy drunk cheeks. Every cell in his body screaming precious precious precious.
“Eds? I'm thirsty, please.”
Eddie hates his life.

Summary
"So like, are you just going stay here?" Katara asks him in that motherly voice that always contains a bit of judgment. Like an added spice, it makes Sokka's cheeks flush against his consent.
The fire in front of them seems to lap and flicker in a pattern that is undeniably similar to laughing. It almost makes Sokka angry, which is immediately lessened by the realization that he is, in fact, having animosity towards an inanimate fire right now. Maybe there's some warrant in Katara bugging him about getting outside his hut more often.
"Yeah, Katara. I'm just going to stay here for my entire life, and then die here, and then stay here for eternity as a ghost." He deadpans.
He regrets his words as soon as they leave his mouth.

Summary
The first time Mike travels back in time shouldn't even count because he spends the entire time blubbering like an asylum patient, grasping onto Will's pre-pubescent eleven year old arms so tight he probably leaves finger shaped bruises. He forces Will to spend the night at his house, much to the chagrin of his parents, and when he wakes the next morning he practically sobs at the relief of it all.
He saved Will. He traveled back in time and he actually saved Will not just from dying but from… all of it.
Will would end up being taken by the Demogorgon two days later just at school instead of on his bike ride home. They find his mangled purple gooped body the next afternoon.

Will dies and Mike gets sent back to that night Will gets taken, determined to save him. No matter how many times it may take and what he has to sacrifice of himself along the way.

“Polar bear.”
Will is truly flabbergasted. He can barely process the words, they're so unexpected.
“What?”
“Your favorite animal is a polar bear.” Mike reiterates, “ Or was…anyways you really like them and I always thought it was so weird. Since that’s not a typical favorite animal, usually kids say something like lion or elephant or wolf but you didn’t. Yours is a polar bear and you said it was because of some documentary you saw about how the mother’s raise their cubs and protect them by themselves in the arctic and it really stuck with you. And every time I see one I think of you and that moment. But the quick trip came out with these new slushies that have a polar bear logo and the guys would always want to go after class and stuff and I would make up some dumb excuse about hating the flavors but it was a lie. I like blue raspberry, you know I like blue raspberry. It was just…every time I went into the fucking place all I saw were polar bears and all I could think about was you .” Mike finishes and his ears are tinted red and his nose keeps twitching.
Will doesn’t know what to say.

He doesn't really fall in love with Michelle so much as he stumbles into it. (It's unfair. This whole Spider-Man thing was supposed to make him less clumsy.)
It sneaks up on him, much like she does. One day, he just realizes that every time she says something he can't help but smile. Even when she's teasing him, or asking him to pass her a pencil. It's like a reflex.
She makes him smile. He thinks about her and this warm feeling spreads through him. He sees her and everything else becomes less important.
He's so screwed.
