   Summary

   It wasn’t always bad. It came in waves, like the damn lakes, peaceful until it wasn’t, frustrating when it was always there until it wasn’t. There were rules to it too.

   Don’t leave your room without triple checking nothing was misplaced. Four times, check your weapon and shield are on you. Count everything to make sure there’s the right amount. Never go first in line unless you’re certain of everything. Plan everything out, expect everything. Plan for it all. Don’t let it happen again. Never fucking let it happen again.

   Sometimes Ishmael got too far in her own head and she had to deal with things her own way, to settle it.
